The MUBS Leadership Centre is focusing on important and topical aspects of leadership and governance practices nationally and internationally. The traditional role of managers, team leaders or supervisors as overseers of work practices is changing to one of a leader.
A leader is a facilitator, enabler and must have the capacity to influence others, to guide and direct them towards success. Organizations in the different parts of the world including Uganda are faced with problems of mismanagement, corruption and the related evils which lead to poor performance and some times collapse of such organizations. The cause of this is mainly due to decline in societal and business ethics which must be addressed and here, the MUBS Leadership centre’s Vision, Mission, and Objectives give great hope. I therefore, encourage all of you who are willing to achieve great things to join hands with the MUBS Leadership Centre in effort to develop and exercise your leadership abilities.
And for the organizations, to combine efforts of recapturing the lost good values of performance, decency and integrity in your organizations. We Welcome contributions to our quarterly Newsletters, we also welcome those who want to be trained in Leadership and governance matters, encourage and call for research proposals in leadership and governance.
